Join us in Downtown Newport on the first weekend of October for a festival filled with cherished traditions—arts and crafts, regional cuisine, beauty pageants, historic demonstrations, rides, and games. Since its beginnings in 1986 as part of the “Tennessee Homecoming” celebrations, the festival has grown under the Cocke County Partnership Chamber of Commerce, now featuring hundreds of vendors, live entertainment, and family-friendly attractions like Kiddie Land.

Department of Health – Temporary Food Establishment Regulations
If you will be preparing, cooking, serving, or selling food at the event, you must register with the Department of Health as a temporary food vendor and comply with all applicable regulations.
Exceptions may apply to commercially packaged or individually wrapped food items that are sold in their original packaging and do not require preparation or handling.
